Dr. Said El-Zayat graduated from Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 1972. He then relocated to Montreal, Canada where he completed residency training and established a private practice in family medicine from 1974 thru 1980. In the United States, Dr. El-Zayat received further training through a residency in anesthesia at Harbor UCLA; a mini-fellowship in geriatrics at VA Hospital, Wadsworth, CA; and a post-graduate course in acupuncture in San Francisco, CA.
